Dr. Liu Jian entered the Institute of Biology at Leiden University, Netherlands in 1988, studying under the internationally renowned natural products chemist Professor Verpoorte, conducting research on indole alkaloid anti-cancer drugs. He later transferred to the School of Chemistry at the University of Kent, UK, studying under the renowned Professor Davidson, conducting research on hydrocarbon chemistry and synthetic organic chemistry.

He is the sole or principal inventor of over 100 patents involving the isolation and synthesis of first-generation, second-generation, and third-generation paclitaxel.

Dr. Liu possesses pharmaceutical professional background from top universities, with years of deep experience in new drug R&D and rich practical expertise. With his profound professional knowledge and keen technical insight, he fully leads the R&D process, precisely controls technical direction, and leads the elite R&D team to successfully overcome multiple technical challenges, ensuring R&D projects advance efficiently according to established plans, providing strong support for the company's technological innovation and product upgrades.
